Precisely one year ago, we made our public debut as the “Roswell Flight Test Crew” at the Tigard Festival of Balloons. The 2012 festival wrapped up on Sunday.
This anniversary seems like a good opportunity to look back over the past 12 months. It's been an extraordinary year – we've watched multirotor and FPV technology advanced at an astonishing rate, had some amazing experiences and met a lot of incredible people along the way, as this blog and our YouTube channel amply demonstrate.
Looking ahead, we are on the cusp of some new developments that I know are going to be even more remarkable – and that's just what I can see coming in the next couple of months. Honestly, I have no idea where we will be a year from now, but I'm glad that wherever we'll be, we will be sharing it with you.
We've corresponded with people from all over the world who have been generous enough to share their own ideas and experiences with us, and who apparently think we have something worthwhile to say about this whole madcap adventure that we're all sharing together. Thank you all for your encouragement and support!
In return, we can offer you this advice: no matter the setback or the frustration, keep fighting. Go pick up the pieces, put them back together, and fly again! Semper cadentes!
