...and we weren't the ones who put ourselves there!
I have to admit, this feels a little strange. If you follow us at all, then you know what we do: show up where something interesting is happening, fly around, then make a video about it. We have a clearly defined role in that process, and we're comfortable with it.
Now, someone has turned our world upside down: we ourselves are the (allegedly) interesting something, and someone pointing a camera at us! It's a disorienting experience, moreso than I ever would have imagined before it happened.
Most of this video – and all of the interviews with Techinstein and myself – were shot on the third day of the festival. By then, rising well before the sun each morning and then staying up late to capture the night glows and re-charge batteries had taken a toll on us – which accounts for our glass-eyed, zombie-like performances.
Still, Jeff did a great job making an interesting video out of our disconnected ramblings. Thank you, Jeff! We've enshrined his production on our “SIGHTINGS!” page, both for your edification and as potential source material for scientists studying the effects of sleep deprivation.
