It's another late night following another frantic day of activity at the AMA Expo. The day began with a focus group to provide input about the AMA's new FPV program, followed a half an hour later by a reprise of our main stage presentation: “Hobbyists to the Rescue.”
After that, we hit the floor to put together some additional video segments to share with you. Today, we caught up with some old friends: Lucien Miller of Innov8tive Designs and Rick Bohlman of GoProfessional Cases.
Lucien had some big news to share with us: the dates of the 2014 Multirotor Challenge, now set for March 21-23. After an overwhelming response to last year's inaugural event, he and his team have decided to expand the event to three full days. Lucien can tell you about it himself:
Rick Bohlman at GoProfessional Cases reported that business has expanded dramatically since we met him 10 months earlier at the first annual Multirotor Challenge – paralleling the overall growth in multirotors over the past year. Furthermore, he said that preliminary indications were that the DJI Phantom 2 Vision was going to take business to a completely new level. Check out what else he had to tell us:
Provided that I can drag myself out of bed tomorrow morning, we'll be back at it for a third and final day, to bring you even more from this year's Expo.
