Of course, for the overwhelming majority of you, I imagine your response will be: “Where the heck is North Plains?” I live here in Oregon, and I had to look it up myself, so it would hardly be politic of me to begrudge you your ignorance.
That said, I've got a great reason for you to become better acquainted with North Plains: the “Fly-a-Ways” RC flying club is hosting it's first annual Aerial Photography and FPV Flying Expo on June 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. – and we're going to be there! In fact, we're honored to have been named “Special Guests” at the event, although I'm sure there are going to be plenty of other people doing some really cool stuff, too.
Spectators are welcome to turn out for free, but there is a $20 “defy gravity” charge for each person who intends to put a machine in the air. Whether you are flying, or watching, it promises to be a great day. We'll see you there!
