Thanks to GoProfessional Cases – the official travel sponsor of the Roswell Flight Test Crew – we were able to attend the first national Drone User Group Network (DUGN) conference in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, September 13.
Chad Frazer, the leader of the North Texas Drone User Group and organizer of the conference, had invited us to be part of it months ago, but we never would have made it without the support that we got from Rick and Beth at GoProfessional Cases. Thanks, guys!
If we did our jobs right, hopefully the video gave you some sense of what it was like to be at the event. For us, one of the big thrills was getting to meet people in person that we had previously only been able to communicate with by telephone and e-mail, such as Chad and Timothy Reuter, the founder of DUGN.
As you heard about halfway through the video, Timothy asked us to orchestrate the conference for next year here in Oregon. We're really excited about the possibilities and we've already started thinking about how to get that organized. We'll need lots of help and ideas, so certainly get in touch if you want to contribute.
Equally impressive was the work being done by the presenters at the conference. Getting to hear what they had to say and then speak with them one-on-one was truly inspirational. We'll be putting together a video about our own presentation at the event, so stay tuned for that here and on our YouTube channel.
