It seems fitting that we wrap up our coverage of AMA Expo 2016 with a segment featuring its title sponsor: GoProfessional Cases. An enormous supporter of the whole community, GPC has also been a steadfast sponsor of us here at the Roswell Flight Test Crew, and it is entirely fair to say that we would not have accomplished everything that we have done without their generous support.
And it certainly doesn't hurt that they make some really cool products. Sometimes I wish I had a particular type of aircraft just so I would have an excuse to own one of their cases – and this new backpack for the DJI Inspire 1 is certainly among them. This isn't the first backpack that's been released for DJI's signature platform, but it's certainly the most carefully considered. Rick and the team at GPC have gone through multiple iterations, making design changes based on input from people who have been using prototypes in the field.
And, of course the fact that it includes MOLLE fields makes it a personal favorite of ours – making it fully compatible with our vests (and an enormous stockpile of tactical pouches and bags in use right around the world).
Finally, Rick mentioned that they are looking at making a hard-sided case as an accessory for the backpack, so that you can safely ship it as cargo if your plans call for air travel in addition to long hikes.
