The Great Oregon “Drone” Crisis, Day 8

First of all, we want to thank everyone for all of the interest and determination we've seen to oppose Senate Bill 71 since we first wrote about it here on our blog last week. I know that many of you have already written in to your representatives in Salem, and you're anxious to do more. Well, here's one more thing you can do:

We also have a bit of news today. Reporter Shelby Stebens with Northwest Watchdog talked to yours truly along with Harvey Smythe from the Field of Screams and put together a very informative article about the deleterious impact Senate Bill 71 would have on hobbyists.

It includes comments from the staff of Senator Floyd Prozanski, stating that Senate Bill 71 will be amended before it moves forward, as well as Representative John Huffman who is working on another anti-drone measure, House Bill 2710. Check it out!

Finally, if you've written to us in the past two weeks and you haven't heard back from us, sorry about that. This development has been nearly all-consuming, so we've had less time than usual to get back to folks.
